Kyung Choi, DDS, MS, PhD

Dr. Kyung Choi graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry in 1996. After graduation, he went on to complete a General Practice Residency program at Evanston Hospital in 1997. Dr Choi continued his post-graduate education by completing a full-time 3-year residency dedicated to implant dentistry at Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry. During his residency, Dr. Choi was exposed of all aspects of dental implants, including bone grafting, sinus grafting, implant surgery and implant prosthodontics.

Dr Choi maintained a private general dental practice in Pusan, South Korea for 13 years before moving back to Southern California in 2014. Upon his return the the United States, Dr. Choi completed a second full-time 2-year residency in Endodontics at University of Southern California, Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry in 2016.

Dr Choi is a part-time faculty member in the Department of Prosthodontics in Pusan National University, School of Dentistry in Pusan, South Korea. He is the inventor of Taegeuk scalloped implant and EZI mini-implant. He has published several dental implant articles in peer-review journals and he is one of the co-authors of a chapter in 7th Edition of Ingle’s Endodontic Textbook.
